Municipal Benchmarks
Side-by-side comparison of all registered municipalities across Alberta. Assessments, parcels, businesses, and vacant lots — pulled live from each municipality's data systems.
About this data
Benchmarks are pulled live from each municipality's own ArcGIS or Socrata endpoint. Not all municipalities publish the same data — a “—” in the table means that municipality doesn't expose that metric via a public API, not that the data doesn't exist.
Full data (6): Edmonton, Calgary, Stony Plain, Strathcona County, St. Albert, Grande Prairie. Assessments + partial (7): Parkland County, Leduc, Lethbridge, Fort Saskatchewan, Camrose, Strathmore, Medicine Hat. Zoning only (11): Spruce Grove, Airdrie, Cochrane, and others. Regional dashboard only (6): Red Deer, Wood Buffalo, Beaumont, Morinville, Devon, and others — these don't appear in benchmark charts because they lack parcel-level data.

Investors
Find value gaps — municipalities with low average assessments but high business counts are undervalued commercial markets.

Rank municipalities by available land (vacant lots), workforce proximity (population), and business ecosystem maturity.
